Why consider working with a health coach?
Each person brings their own story and motivations when they decide to partner with a health coach. Maybe it's the struggle to stick with an exercise routine, or the desire to finally figure out how to eat more fruits and veggies and less of the processed stuff. Often it's the exhaustion that comes from poor sleep, or that constant feeling of being weighed down by stress they just can't shake.
However we envision a healthier life, we all share the same dream: to show up as the best version of ourselves. We want to feel great in our bodies and be more present for the people we care about.
Here's what my clients say. Can you relate?
- I know what I need to do to feel better, but I'm stuck. I just can't seem to get started.
- It's so frustrating. I keep promising I'll eat right and work out, but it never happens. I can't count on myself. I don't feel in control.
- I always put everyone else's needs first. It's time to prioritize myself for a change.
- Watching my parents deal with their own health challenges is motivating me to take care of myself now so that I age well and stay healthy.
- I want to be there for my family, both physically and mentally. I'm done feeling drained all the time.
- I feel trapped in a cycle of worrying about food, and I want to break free.
If any of these resonate with you, you're not alone.
What makes coaching different
Health professionals like doctors and registered dietitians provide critical specialized expertise, which is invaluable when we need help navigating complex health decisions. Coaches offer something different. Rather than prescribing solutions, a coach helps you unlock your own wisdom, get to the heart of what really matters, and take the wheel on your health journey.
The reason is simple: it works. Experience shows that when people are in the driver's seat, the healthy habits they create are the ones that truly last. You set the direction, and coaching is very much a collaborative partnership, with both of us playing active roles.
